Data Clerk - Kisumu

Key Responsibilities:

Enter and update data in databases, spreadsheets, or software systems accurately and efficiently

Verify the accuracy of data by reviewing documents, forms, or records.

Maintain and organize files, both physical and electronic, for easy retrieval.

Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Identify and correct errors in data or records.

Visist other departments with data-related tasks, such as compiling lists, preparing documents, or supporting audits.

Follow institution policies and procedures for data management.

Vacancy Requirements:

  • Enter and update data in databases, spreadsheets, or software systems accurately and efficiently
  • Verify the accuracy of data by reviewing documents, forms, or records.
  • Maintain and organize files, both physical and electronic, for easy retrieval.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Identify and correct errors in data or records.
  • Visist other departments with data-related tasks, such as compiling lists, preparing documents, or supporting audits.
  • Follow institution policies and procedures for data management.
  • Proficient in statistical packages e.g Stata, R SPSS or SQL programming.
  • Familiarity with data entry systems, databases, and software such as Inform, REDCap, Rave or other basic database tools.
  • Basic understanding of data quality assurance and data validation principles.
  • Diploma in Information Communication Technology (ICT),Data Management, Statistics or related field.
  • Proficient in statistical packages e.g Stata, R SPSS or SQL programming.
  • Familiarity with data entry systems, databases, and software such as Inform, REDCap, Rave or other basic database tools.
  • Basic understanding of data quality assurance and data validation principles.
