Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Entry-Level Electronics & Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, servicing, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment while providing excellent technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation and commissioning of electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical and electronic faults.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs and technical installations.
  • Test equipment and components to identify faults and ensure proper operation.
  • Read and interpret basic electrical/electronic diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Maintain proper records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
  • Respond to customer technical queries and provide basic technical support.
  • Visit customer sites when required to perform installations, inspections, or repairs.
  • Identify opportunities for additional products or technical services and support sales activities.
  • Prepare basic service reports and communicate technical findings to supervisors.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained.
  • Follow all safety procedures and technical standards.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Ability to use basic electrical/electronic testing tools.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interest in technical work and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
  • A valid driving licence is an added advantage.

Additional Details

Basic Salary: KES 20,000 per month + Commission.

Commission will be based on performance and successful sales/service opportunities.
