The Finance Manager leads TC4A's finance function — controls, reporting, planning, and compliance — across all operating countries. You will work closely with the CEO and country leads to keep the business financially sound, audit-ready, and well-positioned for continued growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead month-end close, management accounts, and quarterly financial reporting for the company and for each country entity
  • Own the annual budget process and rolling cash flow forecasts; flag variances early
  • Manage statutory and client/grant audits across all entities
  • Ensure tax, payroll, and statutory compliance in each operating country (KRA, URA, RRA, etc.), directly or through local providers
  • Manage banking relationships, FX exposure, and intercompany flows
  • Build and review grant and contract budgets for pharma clients and grant funders
  • Strengthen internal controls, finance policies, and the chart of accounts
  • Supervise the finance team and external accountants in country offices
  • Support fundraising and investor due diligence

Requirements

  • CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's a plus
  • 5+ years of finance experience, including 2+ in a management role
  • Demonstrated experience consolidating multi-country accounts in Africa
  • Hands-on experience with donor and client-funded program audits
  • Advanced Excel; experience with QuickBooks, or comparable accounting systems
  • Excellent written and spoken English; French is a strong advantage

Nice to have

  • Experience in health, tech, or social enterprise sectors
  • Familiarity with pharma client contracting and revenue recognition
  • Exposure to investor reporting and capital raises
