Position Overview:
This pivotal role drives the strategy and execution of all internal and external communications, ensuring every message is timely, impactful, and aligned with our brand identity.
From leading integrated campaigns to owning Roam’s content calendar, you’ll collaborate across teams: Product, Commercial, Design, Operations, and Leadership to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. You're not just a storyteller; you're a strategic communicator with a sharp eye for design, a knack for writing, and the ability to lead creative teams and manage vendors with ease.

What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and execute Roam’s communications strategy aligned with business and product goals.
- Own the content and communications calendar, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across channels.
- Craft clear messaging frameworks and lead cross-platform campaigns—digital, PR, print, events, and internal comms.
- Act as brand guardian, overseeing content creation, copywriting, and visual standards to maintain consistency and impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manage external vendors for the smooth execution of campaigns and events.
- Track and report on communication effectiveness; optimize based on performance data.
- Manage communications budget and resources, maintaining efficiency and quality.
- Build scalable systems for asset management, request handling, and content organization.
- Support market expansion efforts with tailored messaging and brand positioning.
Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a skilled communicator and creative leader with a sharp eye for detail, strong storytelling ability, and proven experience driving multi-channel campaigns in fast-paced environments.
- You hold a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, Journalism, or a related field.
- You bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in brand, marketing, or communications, ideally in a startup, agency, or product-driven environment.
- You're a strong writer and storyteller who can simplify complex ideas for any audience.
- You’ve led end-to-end multi-channel campaigns and know how to manage timelines, teams, and deliverables.
- You’re comfortable across media types, i.e, text, design, video, and know how to guide creative production from brief to final cut.
- You have a sharp eye for detail, design, and brand consistency.
- You’re organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple fast-paced projects without missing a beat.
- You work well independently, make sound decisions, and bring clarity to moving parts.
