JOB DETAILS:

Lorateng is a local tourist destination located in Rusinga Island in Suba North constituency.

The Housekeeping role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at Lorateng Resort Rusinga. This position is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are kept in a pristine condition. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to providing an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
• Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
• Assist with laundry services as needed.

Qualifications:

• BA/BSc/HND qualification.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
