Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy;
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding;
  • Lead organizational development initiatives, including succession and workforce planning;
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements while advising management on HR best practices;
  • Advise senior management on employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational culture change
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity;
  • Oversee HR policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization;
  • Lead and support internal training programs to enhance employee skills and engagement;
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences plus a Diploma in Human Resource Management (a master’s degree is an added advantage);
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience;
  • Membership with IHRM;
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and experience with HRIS systems;
  • Proven experience in leading large and cross-border teams;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
