JOB DETAILS:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Medical Lab Science from an accredited KMTC
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Lab Science
• MSc Medical Lab Science is an added advantage
• Three (3) years Clinical experience since graduation.
• Valid Practicing license from relevant body
• Additional training or certification in the relevant area will be an added advantage.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building of specimen repository for the biomedical laboratories
• Ensuring best practices in the management of science, technology and biomedical laboratories for improved performance and achievements.
• Ensuring Christian behavior and appropriate behavior both internal and external in line with the institutions vision.
• Ensuring security and safety in the laboratories.
• Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired university plans and culture.
• Preparing & setting up of equipment for use by faculty for teaching in the laboratories
• Preparing practical session manuals and procedures in line with set standards.
• Requisition of laboratory equipment and inventory management.
• Training of students on the handling and use of laboratory equipment to ensure safety and security in the lab for both users and equipment

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: associate degree
