About you

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and experienced leader with the vision and expertise to drive complex, multi-country programmes at the intersection of climate, food systems and nutrition.

You will bring strategic leadership and project management expertise with demonstrable experience leading or supporting multi-country environment or climate programmes at a senior level, ideally across African and Asian contexts. You will have a strong track record of providing technical leadership or advisory support on food systems, nutrition, climate change, or broader environmental sustainability issues.

As a natural leader, you will possess the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex partnerships effectively. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of environmental challenges and opportunities in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), with a strong understanding of the interconnections between climate change, food systems and nutrition.

Familiarity with global climate finance mechanisms is highly desirable, and private sector experience would be an advantage.

A postgraduate qualification in environmental science, food policy, food systems, sustainable development, or a closely related discipline.
