surviving, seeking a reliable and efficient Lifeguard to join our dynamic Spa and recreation team.

Swimmer supervision: Vigilantly monitor all swimmers to ensure their safety and intervene before incidents occur. Rule enforcement: Consistently enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment. Rescue and emergency response: Perform water rescues and provide immediate emergency care, including first aid and CPR, until medical personnel arrive. Environmental monitoring: Regularly inspect the facility, equipment, and surrounding area for potential hazards and check on weather conditions. Maintenance and reporting: Maintain a clean and safe environment and complete necessary logs, reports, and chemical readings for things like pools. Customer service: Act as a point of contact, assisting patrons and ensuring a positive experience.
Swimming and physical fitness: Must be an exceptionally strong swimmer with high endurance, strength, and stamina to perform rescues. Certifications: Current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications are essential. Knowledge of AED operation and spinal injury management is also required. Communication: Strong verbal and interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patrons, enforce rules, educate the public, and manage crowds. Observation and focus: Must be highly observant, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to concentrate for long periods to spot signs of distress or potential hazards. Decision-making: Ability to stay calm and make quick, sound judgments under pressure during emergencies. Problem-solving: Skill in handling unexpected situations and de-escalating conflicts diplomatically. Teamwork: Must be able to work effectively with other lifeguards and staff.
