Job Summary

The Line Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes while ensuring consistency, quality, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service.
  • Cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Ensure proper food storage and stock rotation.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized.
  • Minimize food wastage and control portion sizes.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist with inventory counts when required.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts.
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
