Job Summary
Our client in the Personal Care Product Manufacturing Industry, is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Logistics Officer to ensure efficient, ethical and timely movement of raw materials and finished goods across Fairoils’ supply chain. This role supports the coordination of transport, managing inventory flows, and ensuring compliance with local and international export regulations and certification standards.
Job Details
Transport Coordination & Fleet Management:
Coordinate the transportation of raw materials, liaise with third parties, monitor vehicle utilisation and trach transport-related incidents.
Inventory & Warehouse Logistics:
Coordinate warehouse logistics (inbound and outbound, ensure accurate documentation and monitor stock levels.
Export & Compliance Documentation:
Prepare and verify export documentation, liaise with clearance and customs staff and ensure compliance with certification standards.
Systems & Reporting:
Update ERP data and generate regular reports maintaining accurate records for audits and traceability.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with various Fairoils teams, communicate with clients and support logistics planning for the organization.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field;
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations, preferably in FMCG.
- Experience with cross-border logistics in East Africa is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with export documentation procedures is an added advantage.
