Position Overview

Grade: GDC 3

Reference Number: GDC/HRM/SP/QMS&RC/MQMS&RC/01/2026

Job Purpose

The Manager – QMS & Risk Management Coordination will oversee GDC's Quality Management System (ISO standardizations) and coordinate the corporate risk management framework to identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational and strategic risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of GDC's Quality Management Systems (QMS - ISO 9001:2015 and other related standards).
  • Develop, update, and manage the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
  • Coordinate with departmental risk champions to update risk registers, identify emerging risks, and monitor mitigation actions.
  • Plan and conduct internal QMS audits and facilitate external ISO certification/surveillance audits.
  • Provide regular risk reporting and risk dashboards to the Board and executive committees.
  • Drive institutional awareness on quality policies, process optimization, and corporate risk mitigation cultures.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Professional qualification/certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor) and Risk Management (e.g., IRM, CRISC).
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in enterprise risk management and QMS coordination, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of ISO standards, corporate governance guidelines, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent reporting, presentation, and audit capabilities.
