JOB DETAILS:

This is an entry and training grade for this cadre.

Responsibilities or duties

Duties and responsibilities at this level will include: -

• Sampling and receiving samples;
• Decontaminating working benches’
• Receiving and scrutinizing laboratory requisition forms and specimens
• Preparing and standardizing laboratory reagents and procedures; and
• Receiving, collecting, labelling and registering specimens,
• Disaggregating specimens for processing and analysis, and performance routine diagnostic tests.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• A Diploma in Medical Laboratory sciences /Technology, from a recognized institution in Kenya.
• Registration Certificate issued by the KMLTTB; and
• Valid practicing license from the KMLTTB;

This is an entry and training grade for this cadre.
