This is an entry and training grade for this cadre.
Responsibilities or duties
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include: -
- Sampling and receiving samples;
- Decontaminating working benches’
- Receiving and scrutinizing laboratory requisition forms and specimens
- Preparing and standardizing laboratory reagents and procedures; and
- Receiving, collecting, labelling and registering specimens,
- Disaggregating specimens for processing and analysis, and performance routine diagnostic tests.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- A Diploma in Medical Laboratory sciences /Technology, from a recognized institution in Kenya.
- Registration Certificate issued by the KMLTTB; and
- Valid practicing license from the KMLTTB;
Experience needed
This is an entry and training grade for this cadre.
