Miam Nursing Home is seeking a competent and licensed **Medical Laboratory Technologist** to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should be qualified, professional, and ready to start work immediately while providing accurate and reliable laboratory services to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, and process patient samples according to laboratory procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory results while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of specimens.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
• Follow laboratory safety, infection prevention, and quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and laboratory activities.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Must be a licensed Medical Laboratory Technologist.
• Valid registration with the relevant regulatory body.
• Ability to perform laboratory procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities professionally.
• Must be available to start work immediately.
• Applicants currently based in Wajir will have an added advantage.
