Description

The Night Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all security operations during night shifts. This role involves supervising security personnel, enforcing access control procedures, monitoring CCTV and surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and ensuring prompt response to any security or safety incidents. The Supervisor will ensure a secure environment and uphold company safety standards throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the night shift security team.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including factory, warehouse, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor and operate CCTV and other security systems.
• Control access and egress of personnel and vehicles.
• Ensure all incidents are documented and escalated according to procedure.
• Train, guide, and discipline security guards as needed.
• Perform security checks on equipment and report malfunctions.
• Liaise with management and emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain daily logs and shift reports.

Key Experience & Profile Required:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Prior experience in factories, FMCG plants, or large warehouses.
• Demonstrated experience in night shift security operations.
• Strong knowledge of guard deployment, access control, and incident reporting.
• Ability to manage, train, and discipline security personnel.
• Physically fit to conduct patrols and respond to incidents.
• High integrity and a clean background record.
• Good communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum KCSE certificate (Diploma in Security Management is an added advantage).
• Basic computer literacy for reporting and communication.
