Responsibilities or duties

• Providing holistic care by assessing, formulating, planning, and implementing evidence-based nursing care;
• Conducting risk identification and assessment of individuals;
• Ensuring a safe nursing care environment;
• Conducting community health risk assessment and providing outcome-based interventions;
• Referring patients and clients appropriately;
• Facilitating patients’ admission and initiating discharge plans; and
• Maintaining nursing records on patients/clients personal and health condition/care

Qualifications or requirements 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution;
• Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya;
• Valid Practicing License from the Nursing Council of Kenya; and
• Certificate in Computer Application Skills.
