Background

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Pastry Baker to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, creativity in pastry preparation, and the ability to produce high-quality baked goods consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, bread, and desserts
• Decorate and present baked items attractively
• Develop new pastry recipes and improve existing products
• Monitor ingredient quality and maintain proper storage
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained
• Manage baking schedules to meet daily production needs
• Control stock levels and minimize waste

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Pastry & Bakery, Culinary Arts, or related field
• Proven experience as a pastry baker or similar role
• Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decoration
• Attention to detail and creativity
• Ability to work early hours and in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

N/B Salary Range (ksh 40,000 - 50,000)
