Duties and Responsibilities

• Working under the general direction of the Vice Chancellor, the successful applicants shall:
• Be the Academic and Administrative Head of the University College
• Have overall responsibility of Direction, Organization, Administration and programmes of the College
• Co-ordinate, development and implementation of the academic and administrative policies of the College
• Maintain efficiency and good order of the College and ensure proper enforcement of the Statutes and Regulations
• Provide Innovative and Creative Leadership in the areas of Planning and Development

Qualifications and Experience

All applicants must;

• Possess an earned PhD and be a Professor / Associate Professor
• Have at least ten (10) years’ experience in Senior Academic, Research or Management positions
• Have held senior administrative posts such as Director/Dean of Faculty, School or Institute Campus in a recognized University
• Have experience in networking, fundraising and resource mobilization
• Be registered with the relevant professional body in one’s area of specialization
• Possess excellent Organizational, Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Kenya Constitution, 2010.

Experience in Months: 120

Level of Education: bachelor degree
