We are thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Quality & Safety Officer at Fireside Group Ltd. This role is responsible for developing and enforcing a workplace culture of Health and Safety.

Education and Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in Environmental Studies, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
  • At least 2 years' experience in safety and quality assurance
  • Industry-specific experience is an added advantage Proficient in driving with a valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train employees on health, safety, and quality standards. Conduct safety inspections and identify hazards or violations.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to address risks. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Monitor operations and employee activities for safety adherence.
  • Prepare reports, manuals, incident records, and compliance documentation.
  • Stay updated on EHS laws, trends, and best practices.
  • Manage and advise on project safety programs and procedures.
  • Perform routine and follow-up site inspections, documenting findings.
  • Track and report incidents, accidents, and safety statistics.
  • Orient new staff on occupational health, safety, and quality expectations.
  • Verify work quality and compliance with required standards.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
