Job Description
We are currently seeking to fill the position of Reverse Osmosis (R.O) Plant Operator. The ideal candidate will be technically competent, dependable, and proactive, with a strong commitment to ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the R.O plant.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following competencies:
- A keen attention to detail, ensuring high standards of performance and safety.
- Practical, hands-on experience in plumbing, with the ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify quickly and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective coordination with team members.
- A sound understanding of water analysis procedures, pump operations, and regeneration processes.
- Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of R.O water treatment plants.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Diploma or Certificate in Analytical Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Water Technology, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in operating and maintaining R.O water treatment systems.
- Practical experience in plumbing and mechanical repairs will be considered an added advantage.
- Familiarity with water testing procedures and safe handling of treatment chemicals is required.
- Prior experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector will be an added advantage.
