Our client, a fast-paced restaurant in Nairobi CBD, is seeking to recruit an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills and prior experience supervising staff in a busy restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
- Oversee front-of-house staff including waiters and cashiers.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and performance.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Manage shift schedules and staff coordination.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with management for replenishment.
- Support achievement of daily and monthly sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy restaurant (mandatory).
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Presentable and professional demeanor.
