Our client, a leading provider of security systems aggregation solutions, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Sales Executive (IT & Security Solutions) to join their expanding team in Nairobi. This role is ideal for a high-energy individual with a proven track record in selling IT or security-related solutions.
- You will be at the forefront of driving lead generation and opening doors to new business opportunities, playing a critical role in feeding the sales pipeline. This position requires someone with a solid understanding of technology-driven security solutions and an ability to engage prospective clients with confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage prospective clients through cold calling, emailing, networking, and attending industry events.
- Target companies across industries that require security system integration and IT-based solutions.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Initiate conversations with leads to understand their security and IT requirements.
- Qualify leads based on client readiness, budget, and needs.
- Build rapport and long-term relationships with potential clients.
- Document client requirements and communicate them effectively to the Pre-Sales team.
- Ensure smooth transition of qualified leads for presentation, proposal, and closing.
- Collaborate closely with the Pre-Sales Representatives for seamless client onboarding.
- Keep up-to-date records of prospects, client interactions, and sales activities.
- Track lead conversion metrics and provide regular progress reports to management.
- Stay current with industry trends, security innovations, and competitor offerings.
- Understand and confidently communicate the company\'s full suite of security solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3–5 years in sales, specifically within security systems, IT solutions, or tech integration.
- Prior experience working with system integrators, tech manufacturers, or security distributors is a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities with the confidence to engage decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Equivalent work experience in a relevant field will be considered.
