Talent Grid Africa is recruiting on behalf of a leading hospitality firm for an experienced Sous Chef based in Mombasa, with relocation considered.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, lead culinary teams, maintain premium food standards and ensure efficient service across dining operations.

Qualifications and Experience

We're looking for a professional with:

• 7+ years of progressive culinary experience
• A Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management or a related field
• Experience in high-end or luxury fine dining operations
• Previous senior line chef or junior sous chef experience
• Knowledge of food costing, inventory management and kitchen operations
• Experience managing diverse, high-volume kitchen teams
• Experience in the coastal region or willingness to relocate to Mombasa

Level of Education: bachelor degree
