Job Role Context
This role is for a Storekeeper position at an Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Mombasa. The storekeeper will be responsible for managing the hotel's inventory and ensuring efficient stock control.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, unpacking, and verifying incoming stock.
- Organizing and maintaining the stockroom.
- Issuing stock to various departments as per requisitions.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts.
- Ensuring proper storage and handling of goods to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Reporting discrepancies and stock levels to management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
