Key Duties and Responsibilities.
Production inventory
- Update production inventory data on the data base (SAP) and share production inventory stock reports tmanagement for stock level status.
- Update on the SAP database of all receipted & issued data for raw and packaging materials.
- Create and receive transfer orders for raw material & finished products.
- Send flour stocks and outstanding un-discharged trucks report.
- Maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary tmeet production demands.
- Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts texpedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.
Flour Milling Operations:
- Assist with the intake, cleaning, and milling of wheat, as well as flour blending.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Document and report on various aspects of the milling process, including wheat intake, flour production, and other relevant data.
Customer or Driver Interaction:
- Interact with stakeholders -customers, drivers, loaders or other personnel involved in the milling process.
Inventory / stock Management:
- Organize and maintain the store, ensuring proper storage and accessibility of materials and products.
- Maintain and generate accurate records of flour and other materials in stock movement, ensure proper storage and handling.
Quality Control:
- Assisting in ensuring the raw materials and final flour product by checking for accuracy in weighing, blending, and other aspects of the process.
- SOPs and established processes
- Adhering established safety and operational procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the milling plant.
Accountabilities:
- The Stores Clerk is accountable for the following:
- Raw materials Stock inbounds and outward bound
- Finished products
- Storage
- Damages/wastage
Education and Key qualification Requirements:
- KCSE plus Higher-level qualification in store.
- Certificate in supply chain management / logistics is desirable.
- Extensive work experience of over 3 years in a similar position.
- Must have worked in flour milling company
- SAP experience is a must for the incumbent.
- Ability twork under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic, attention tdetail and quality focus.
- Experienced in food safety audits
