Transport: Safely operate an emergency vehicle to transport patients to hospitals or other medical centers. Patient Care: Provide basic life support (BLS) care, such as hemorrhage control, airway maintenance, and CPR, depending on the required certification. Assistance: Help other medical staff, such as paramedics or attendants, with lifting patients and moving stretchers. Vehicle & Equipment: Inspect, clean, and maintain the ambulance and its medical equipment. Reporting: Complete incident reports, maintain patient confidentiality, and log information for billing and record-keeping. Communication: Operate radio and communication systems to coordinate with dispatch and other emergency services.

CPR/First Aid certification

Driver's License: Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving history. High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Certifications: CPR: Current CPR certification is a common requirement. First Aid: Some positions may require a first aid certification. EMT: Many roles, especially those that include more patient care, require at least an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
