A food science intern needs a combination of technical skills like lab work and data analysis, and soft skills such as communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail. 

Assist with product formulation and testing. Perform lab experiments, including sensory evaluations and microbiological tests. Collect, document, and analyze data from experiments. Support quality assurance and control activities. Collaborate with other departments, such as R&D, quality control, and production. Help prepare reports and provide recommendations based on analysis. Stay current on food science research and trends.
Technical skills: Laboratory and experimental skills Data collection and analysis Knowledge of food safety and quality control Familiarity with research and development processes Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, programming like Python is a plus) Soft skills: Strong communication (written and verbal) Problem-solving Attention to detail and meticulousness Analytical and critical thinking Teamwork and collaboration Ability to work independently Organizational and time-management skills Adaptability and a strong desire to learn
1. Degree in food Science 2. 1-2 Yrs experience preferably in a manufacturing Sector.
