JOB DETAILS:

Requirements for appointment:-

• Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered midwifery, or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution;
• Possess a current valid practicing certificate;
• Membership to a relevant professional body; and
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and responsibilities:-

• Assess, plan, implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient’s outcomes;
• Provide appropriate healthcare service including Integrated Management of Childhood; Illness (IMCI), immunization, PMTCT, antenatal care and delivery;
• Provide health education and counseling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs;
• Refer patients and clients appropriately;
• Facilitate patient’s admission and initiating discharge plans;
• Maintain records on patients/clients’ health condition and care;
• Ensure a tidy and safe clinical environment; and
• Collect, compile and submit data as scheduled.
