Duties and Responsibilities
• Receiving, stamping and recording incoming information materials;
• Shelving and shelf arrangement;
• Charging and discharging library materials;
• Posting date due labels;
• Listing materials for binding;
• Preparing file pockets;
• Fixing book jackets;
• Preparing and cataloging press cuttings;
• Spine marking;
• Filing catalogue cards; and
• Coding and data entry.

Job Requirements
A Certificate in any of the following disciplines: -
• Library Studies; Information Studies; Information Science or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
• Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution;
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills;
• Fulfill requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.

Job Experience: No Requirements

Level of Education: Associate Degree
