We are thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Accounts Assistant at Fireside Group Ltd.

LOCATION: NAIROBI

Education and Qualification

  • A degree in B Com Accounting and minimum CPA Part 2
  • . - Has at least 2–3 years’ work experience.
  • - Proficiency in computer applications. - Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • - Strong mathematical skills.
  • - Knowledge in statutory preparation and filing.
  • - Familiarity with accounting software.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Projects based accounts reconciliation. - Debussing money, petty cash management and banking duties.
  • - Manage cash flows by issuing invoices and timely processing of payments.
  • - Vehicle management on licenses, mileage, fuel consumption, repair and maintenance.
  • - Make travel and accommodation arrangements for projects personnel.
  • - Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders and address complaints.
  • - Handle vendors/suppliers and staff correspondence and inquiries both local and international.
  • - Preparation of Purchase orders for suppliers and clients.
  • - Preparation of proforma invoices and tax invoices.
  • - Budgeting, sourcing of materials, billing and preparation of casuals’ wages payment schedule for both FTTS and Huawei Projects. - Coordinating with manufacturers and clearing agents on international supplies. - Preparing and making available audit reports. - Carry out accounts department errands.
  • - Preparation of VAT analysis.
  • - Carrying out stock takes and doing reports.
  • - Any other duties assigned.
