  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Revenue management
  • Prepare general ledger postings and statements
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in data base
  • Extraction of monthly fee balances and vote head summaries
  • Assist in the preparation of budget estimates anticipated income by vote head
  • Ensure all accountable documents are properly filed and easily retrievable for audit purposes
  • Prepare financial management reports, verify invoices, undertake monthly bank reconciliations, and reconcile debtors and creditors registers
  • Verify payment vouchers and supporting documents before payment
  • Prepare payroll and statutory deductions
  • Proficiency in accounting packages
  • Basic skills on how to operate office equipment
  • Hands on experience with spreadsheets and financial reporting in Conformity with IPSAS
  • A pass in part III of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option), or Business Administration (Accounting option) from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with the Institute of certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and in good standing
