Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for hotel management and ownership.
- Revenue & Expense Tracking: Analyze accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank statements, and process authorized purchase requests.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating annual budgets and forecasting future financial performance.
- Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, file tax returns (e.g. PAYE, VAT), and handle statutory deductions.
- Payroll Processing: Manage employee salaries, wages, and associated payments ensuring accuracy.
- Audit Support: Liaise with external auditors and maintain internal financial controls to curb losses across operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA Part II or equivalent
- 2-5 years relevant accounting experience, ideally in a busy hotel or resort
- Advanced Excel and familiarity with PMS/QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
