We, LED Power Technologies EA K LTD, are looking for two diligent and detail-oriented Accountants to join our accounting team. The ideal candidates will handle daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
  • Ensure compliance with government tax regulations.
  • Process accounts receivable and payable
  • Analyse financial performance and suggest improvements for cost control
  • Proficient in palladium accounting software
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
  • Ensure all financial systems and processes comply with regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory payments (PAYE, VAT, SHA, NSSF).
  • Support external audits and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a reputable organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
