We, LED Power Technologies EA K LTD, are looking for two diligent and detail-oriented Accountants to join our accounting team. The ideal candidates will handle daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
- Ensure compliance with government tax regulations.
- Process accounts receivable and payable
- Analyse financial performance and suggest improvements for cost control
- Proficient in palladium accounting software
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Ensure all financial systems and processes comply with regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
- Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory payments (PAYE, VAT, SHA, NSSF).
- Support external audits and regulatory compliance activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a reputable organization.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
