Job Summary & Scope

Alexanna is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Accounting Associate to join its finance team. In this role, you will assist with day-to-day accounting functions, maintain financial records, support reconciliation processes, and ensure timely compliance with routine financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Ledger Maintenance: Assist in recording daily financial transactions, posting journals, and maintaining accurate general ledgers.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Support vendor payment processing, customer invoicing, and follow-up on outstanding accounts.
  • Reconciliations: Help prepare bank reconciliations and verify transaction records against bank statements.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Assist in preparing routine financial statements and compiling documentation for internal and external reviews.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting progression (e.g., CPA) is an added advantage.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of personal integrity and professional ethics.
