St. Crispin Afya Hospital is a licensed Level 3B private health facility in Kajiado committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As we gear up for our Level 4 transition, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Pharmaceutical Technologist to lead daily operations, oversee departmental heads, and ensure the hospital meets its clinical, financial, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance team by organising and assessing supporting documents for payment vouchers under supervision, ensuring all required information is included.
  • Manage petty cash under supervision, including disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
  • Assist in monthly bank, petty cash and credit card reconciliations, flagging discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support the verification and tagging of assets and help maintain an updated asset register.
  • Organise and file financial documentation for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
  • Provide support during external and internal audits, including preparation of schedules and retrieval of supporting documentation.
  • Assist with supplier reconciliations, resolving outstanding issues in collaboration with the procurement and admin teams.
  • Support the Finance team in data entry into accounting software and preparation of financial reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA Intermediate/Part II qualification.
  • Candidates should have graduated not more than five (5) years prior to the date of application.
  • Prior exposure to office work will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience working with QuickBooks software will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, planning, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work execution.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Positive attitude towards work, with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow on the job.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, flexible, and able to perform additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
