The Phadam Hospital is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and accurate financial operations of the hospital.

Responsibilities

The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Processing invoices, receipts, and petty cash.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting procedures.
  • Handling confidential financial information with discretion.
  • Providing support to the finance department as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Excel).
  • Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information.
  • Basic understanding of invoices, receipts, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
  • CPA Part I or II is an added advantage but not mandatory.
