Job Purpose:
To support the Events and Bookings Unit by handling administrative duties, coordinating event bookings, managing email communication, and ensuring smooth information flow between clients and the operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and record event and catering booking requests.
- Maintain and update the events and bookings calendar.
- Read, check, and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
- Provide clear and accurate information as received from the relevant departments.
- Assist in preparing event documentation and client communication.
- Coordinate with the operations team to support planning and delivery of events. .
- Maintain proper records and filing of event and client information.
- Follow up on booking confirmations and client requests.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably within the hospitality or catering industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and respond to emails professionally.
- Ability to give clear and accurate information.
- Good organizational and administrative skills.
