ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT I - CASB 9 (JOB GROUP K)
- Basic Salary Kshs. - 41,320
- House Allowance - 12,800
- Commuter Allowance - 5,000
- Leave Allowance - 6,000 (Payable once in a Year)
- Mortgage & Car Loan - As per SRC guidelines
Duties and Responsibilities
- Taking oral dictation;
- Word and data processing;
- Handling routine correspondences;
- Operating office equipment;
- Ensure security of office equipment, documents and records;
- Attending to visitors/clients;
- Handling telephone calls and appointments;
- Maintaining diary and scheduling of meetings;
- Ensuring an up-to-date filing system in the office;
- Supervision of office cleanliness; and
- Managing petty cash.
Requirements for Appointment
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Commerce, Public Administration or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
- Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES & GC) from the Kenya National Examinations Council in the following subjects: Typewriting III (minimum 50 w.p.m)/, Computerized
- document Processing III; Business English III/Communications II, Office Practice II, Commerce II, Secretarial Duties II, Office Management III/Office Administration and Management III, will be an added advantage;
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council will be an added advantage;
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education; and
- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognised institution.
