AGL is a leading player in the energy sector, committed to powering progress across Africa. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office.

Responsibilities:

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Managing and maintaining office supplies and inventory.
  • Answering and directing phone calls, and handling correspondence.
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Assisting with travel arrangements and expense reports.
  • Maintaining organized filing systems, both physical and digital.
  • Providing general administrative support to the team.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role is required.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position based in our Nairobi office. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team environment.
