About the Job
Our client is a leading provider of medical services in Kenya. They are seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Administrator Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, providing administrative support, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Provide administrative support to the medical staff, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Handle patient registration and ensure all necessary information is collected and updated.
- Assist with billing and payment processing.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
