Ambulance Driver Job Siloam Hospital. Responsible for safely transporting patients, medical staff, and emergency equipment while maintaining the ambulance in good working condition.

Qualifications

KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Valid Kenyan Driving Licence – Class BCE, with the appropriate category for the ambulance being driven. Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), First Aid, or a recognized ambulance driver/paramedic training course. Valid Certificate of Good Conduct and a clean driving record. Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid certification.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience, preferably with experience driving ambulances or other emergency response vehicles.

Other Details

Knowledge of emergency response procedures, patient handling, and safe transportation of critically ill or injured patients. Ability to operate and perform basic checks on ambulance equipment and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy. Excellent knowledge of Kenyan roads and traffic regulations. Good communication, teamwork, decision-making, and stress-management skills. The role is based in Kericho with duties performed on-site.
