Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It is located in western Kenya and borders Homa Bay County, Kisii County, Narok, Tanzania and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria.

Responsibilities or duties

This will be the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will be on job training and will be assigned simple duties in repair and maintenance works under close supervision of a more experienced officer in line with the area of specialization (Carpentry, Masonry, Welding, Painting and Plumbing).

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• Be a Kenya citizen.
• Be a holder of at least KCSE D- (Minus) or its equivalence
• Government Trade Test Certificate Grade III in the relevant trade area (Plumbing.)
