Requirements for Appointment
 For appointment to  this grade, a candidate must have:

• Trade Test Grade III Certificate or its equivalent from an accredited examining body; and Proficiency in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
This is  the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under supervision and guidance of a designated officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

• Carrying out gardening, carpentry, environmental and building works;
• Perform basic repair and maintenance of facilities;
• Cleaning and maintenance of machines, tools and equipment;
• Carrying out routine checks for repairs and maintenance of works and equipment;
• Making requisitions for materials and spares;
• Installing and operating equipment;
• Testing equipment for proper operate

Work Hours: 8

Experience: No Requirements

Level of Education: professional certificate
