About the Role

Miale Solar is seeking a highly skilled Asset Manager to oversee the performance, maintenance, and optimization of our solar PV and energy storage assets. The role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and long-term asset value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the commercial, financial, and operational performance of renewable energy assets
  • Ensure compliance with project agreements, regulatory requirements, and lender obligations
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including regulators, shareholders, and local partners
  • Monitor performance of solar PV and BESS systems
  • Diagnose and resolve operational faults and system alarms
  • Lead and supervise the O&M team and field technicians
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
  • Ensure availability of tools, spare parts, and consumables
  • Analyze system performance data and recommend optimization solutions
  • Conduct site audits and assess asset conditions
  • Provide performance reports and act as the technical contact post-commissioning
  • Support client escalations, system upgrades, and technical improvements
  • Prepare and manage O&M budgets and track costs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all sites
  • Drive initiatives to optimize asset performance and project returns

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing renewable energy assets (solar PV, BESS, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of performance monitoring systems, SCADA, and data acquisition tools
  • Knowledge of energy production metrics and performance analysis
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
