Responsibilities or duties

  • Lead identification and prioritization of ICT processes for audit coverage.
  • Conduct risk assessments of IT environments and develop audit plans.
  • Coordinate IS audit activities to ensure effective coverage and quality.
  • Audit IT systems, networks, and applications for compliance.
  • Identify and document IT security risks and recommend controls.
  • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Provide advisory services on IT developments and risk controls.
  • Mentor and manage audit staff.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CGEIT).
  • Membership in ISACA, (ISC)², CIISec, or other recognized body.
  • Senior Management course or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Experience needed

  • Minimum 9 years relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in middle management.
