Responsibilities or duties
- Lead identification and prioritization of ICT processes for audit coverage.
- Conduct risk assessments of IT environments and develop audit plans.
- Coordinate IS audit activities to ensure effective coverage and quality.
- Audit IT systems, networks, and applications for compliance.
- Identify and document IT security risks and recommend controls.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
- Provide advisory services on IT developments and risk controls.
- Mentor and manage audit staff.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Professional certification (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CGEIT).
- Membership in ISACA, (ISC)², CIISec, or other recognized body.
- Senior Management course or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Experience needed
- Minimum 9 years relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in middle management.
