Job Specifications
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -
Monitoring all printing jobs; preparing work schedule sheets;
Preparing machines; loading schedule for letter press and litho;
Reporting faulty machines;
Handling or proof-reading classified printing jobs;
Ensuring quality control; supervising activities of Book Production,
Security Printing, Lithographic Printing, and General Printing;
Designing, programming and monitoring printing development programmes; and
Ensuring implementation of planned printing activities.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
KCSE C- (Minus);
Diploma in Printing Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Computer literacy;
Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
