The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will play a vital role in supporting the estimation and cost management processes for our painting services. S/He will work closely with our quantity surveying team to ensure accurate project cost projections, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Calculate the required paint quantities for various projects.
- Assist in estimating expenses for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Coordinate with painters for site sampling and workforce planning.
- Contribute to the development of project budgets.
- Support material procurement and supplier management in line with the approved budget.
- Aid in preparing project documents, such as quantity surveying reports, progress updates, and cost variance reports.
- Use ERP systems and related tools to improve measurement efficiency and ensure well-organized project records.
Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction project management.
- Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail, capable of conducting precise quantity take-offs and accurate cost assessments.
