JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications, APIs, databases and system integrations.
- Support the development and improvement of ERP systems.
- Mentor junior developers, allocate tasks and monitor delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding, testing, documentation and security standards.
- Resolve system defects, performance issues and data-integrity risks.
- Manage deployments, servers, Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop automated unit, feature and end-to-end tests.
Required Skills
- PHP and Laravel 11+
- Vue 3, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- MySQL and PostgreSQL
- REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Linux, Ubuntu, Nginx, PHP-FPM and Supervisor
- Git, GitHub Actions and CI/CD
- Cypress, Playwright or Laravel Dusk
- Application security, database optimisation and multi-tenant architecture
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
- Experience developing or supporting ERP or enterprise systems.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior developers.
- Strong understanding of the software-development lifecycle.
- Willingness to relocate to and work from Kakamega.
