Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Verifying company financial information
  • Bookkeeping and financial reporting including preparation of annual financial statements and non-audit working papers on pro audit
  • Management accounting and reporting service including reviews
  • Payroll management and processing including e-pay slips, payroll payments and returns
  • Monthly tax compliance services including VAT, PAYE and withholding tax returns
  • Carry out treasury services
  • Carry out invoicing on behalf of clients
  • Preparing high-quality, error-free reports that require minimal revisions
  • Participating in client calls and client meetings in conjunction with the seniors
  • Participating in on-site visits and meetings if and when required to
  • Preparing presentations for existing or prospective clients together with seniors
  • Contributing to the proposal submissions and business development initiatives
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Key Result Areas:

The job holder’s accountability areas are outlined as follows;

  • Submission of accurate, timely and relevant reports
  • Effective execution of assigned projects
  • Effective compliance to firm’s standards in work outputs
  • Successful adherence to ethical practices in client relations
  • Successful participation in business development and marketing initiatives

Qualifications and Competencies Required:

  • Graduate in the field of accounting, finance or any other related field
  • Pursuing or planning to pursue a professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Professional competence, timeliness and mastery of subject matter.
