• Hold technical direction through credibility rather than title.

• JavaScript and TypeScript with Node.js, Express, and Angular; or .NET with C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API
• Designing REST APIs or microservices
• SQL and data modeling
• Testing discipline across unit, integration, and functional levels
• Debugging across tiers under pressure and reasoning from symptom to root cause
• Code review leadership and mentoring of senior and mid-level engineers

• Roughly 8–12 years of hands-on software engineering, with recent time at senior or staff scope where other engineers depended on what you owned
• Deep expertise on one of our platforms: JavaScript and TypeScript with Node.js, Express, and Angular; or .NET with C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API
• Real experience designing REST APIs or microservices rather than only consuming them
• Strong SQL and data modeling ability
• Testing discipline across unit, integration, and functional levels
• Demonstrated ownership of a subsystem or service in production, including the consequences of your own design decisions
• Code review leadership and mentoring of senior and mid-level engineers
• Ability to debug across tiers under pressure and reason from symptom to root cause
• Legacy modernization experience (Nice to have)
• Docker and containerized development (Nice to have)
• AWS or Azure (Nice to have)
• CI/CD ownership (Nice to have)
• Observability and production diagnosis depth (Nice to have)
